The 2012 Autodesk Oregon Regional event will be held March 6-9 at the Memorial Coliseum.

Note that if you want to enter the PIT Area (where the robots are prepared, fixed, updated), you must wear closed-toe shoes..no flip flops or sandals allowed.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) seeks to inspire an appreciation of science and technology among young people, ultimately motivating them to pursue opportunities in science, technology and engineering. The FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and young people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way.
Colleges, universities, corporations, businesses, and individuals provide scholarships to our participants. Involved engineers and adults with business experience can make a difference by volunteering. The competition shows students that the technological fields hold many opportunities and that the basic concepts of science, math, engineering, and invention are exciting and interesting. Many of the students choose engineering and the technology fields as a profession.
