The University of Portland is pleased to offer five $3,000 merit-based scholarships to students who have participated in a FIRST Robotics Competition in high school. Each scholarship is renewable for 4 years, for a total of $12,000. The scholarship will be automatically renewed each year provided the student maintains a 2.7 cumulative college GPA and is otherwise making satisfactory academic progress. In order for the selected students to receive the scholarship award, the student must be admitted to the University of Portland within a STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) major, have a 3.5 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and a minimum combined SAT score of 1100.
They must receive your completed application and letter of recommendation by March 1, 2013.
