We asked FIRST Teams what they thought of the game. Here is what FIRST Team 3711 (Trout Lake High School) wrote:
Our team liked the challenge and the kickoff. The animation was great, and a very cool way to show off the challenge. The addition of the Kinect control method was exciting the team. At the kickoff, the rookies enjoyed participating in workshops and everyone liked seeing what the playing field would look like. The colaboration aspect of the challenge is something many members like. It seems very difficult, but something we are ready to accept and work on. Accuracy is a big concern and one of the hardest parts of the challenge. Speed is another challenging part. A focus for our team is the durability of the robot itself. We do not want to be pushed around. “Tying in basketball to robotics was a good idea for the challenge. I am very excited to work out solutions,” says Alex K.
