To FRC teams:
LabVIEW is a graphical programming language which has become a de facto standard for data acquisition in engineering and scientific labs.
It is a valuable productivity tool because of its intuitive data flow and the ease with with a beginner can make something happen.
With LabVIEW the student can readily access the FRC WOW factor of closed loop robot control system design without making a full-on commitment commitment to the world of C ++.
The folks at Kings Way Christian School in Vancouver have volunteered their computer lab for three LabVIEW training classes during this summer. All dates are on Saturday. There will be a 45 minute break for lunch and we encourage students to bring a sack lunch.
There is no cost for the classes but we do ask that you email me with your intent to attend. (We need contact information in case any change in plans is required. We are limited to 25 students. See outline for details.)
The lab computers will have FRC LabVIEW for use during class. You are welcome to bring your laptop but there will not be time for LabVIEW installations the day of the class.
